So it may be time to ditch my favorite WordPress plugin, Contact Form 7, and find something new.
It seems that with the upgrade to 2.1 comes a new script.

This script seems to work with WP Super Cache for some reason or another. Either way, it throws up all kinds of errors in google’s page speed test. I’m not sure if there is a work around yet, if I’m going to ditch Contact Form 7 and redo all my forms, or if I’m crazy and this rogue script is coming from something else.
If you have any idea what this is, or better yet how to remove it, please let me know in the comments.

Check out cforms II.
very easy and customizable.

I’ve used cforms before. Wasn’t all that impressed, I may have to go with custom forms. From what I can tell, if I revert to the older version, the script will go away.
Hi Travis,
Have you checked out gravity forms plugin yet? I experienced the same problem as you a few weeks ago and did some digging around. I found Gravity Forms to be a really good alternative. Granted, it’s not a free plugin so it was a little hard to justify at first but I’m glad I paid in the end. After fumbling with all the free versions the paid route made sense. I recommend checking out their support forum. The team is really quick to respond. Let us know how it goes. Good Luck.

Nice, this Gravity Forms looks good. I may have to give them a shot. Thanks for the suggestion.
