		<description>Thanks, I&#039;m glad you liked the article. It&#039;s not so much I hate flash video, I hate the nasty embeds that come with them. Of course looking at my HTML5 solution, flash doesn&#039;t seem so bad.</description>

		<description>Very interesting to see a full implementation like this. I&#039;m primarily a Flash developer- but need to do lots of HTML as well (of course!) and haven&#039;t come across a more thorough example. 

I agree that there are a lot of issues right now; including historical cross-browser junk and now these new codec issues. It&#039;s really too bad and I think things really have to change for HTML5 video to be universally usable.

I would take issue with your assertion that implementing video playback through Flash is horrible- but I&#039;m coming from that side of things so admit my bias.
